Step One: CompleteCongratulations! The hardest part is over.
The fact that you're visiting this site shows that you have the strength, the resolve, and the power to overcome what life is throwing at you. All of us experience parts of life that can be harder than others, but it is those who choose to face those struggles head on that succeed in getting back on track. Just by being here, you're already way ahead of the game! Step Two: Now What?Okay, so I've already done the hardest part by taking the first step towards making things better . . . now what?
The answer is very simple: Work with someone who can help you get where you want to be in life. I'm an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with years of experience with individuals, couples, families, and kids. My style uses a heavy dose of humor to make progress down-to-earth, straight-forward, and yes, even fun. There's no point in working towards a happier life if you can't enjoy it in the process! Take a look around this site to learn more about how we can partner together to get you where you want to be and keep every day better than the last. Go ahead and fill out the info on the right, send me an e-mail or give me a call with any questions on how this works and what to do next. Remember: Nobody said that it would be easy, but nobody said that you had to do it alone |

New Resource For Abusive RelationshipsTrigger warning: DV and SA
I was reached out to by Helping Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Assault asking me to put their website out there as a resource. From what I can gather, they are a tremendous resource to learn about sexual assault and resources to utilize, god forbid, if they are needed for you or a loved one. I got into this field after learning about the prevalence of sexual assault, and this organization presents a lot of very hard to find information, especially when you need it. After experiencing something like this, the last thing you want to do is Google what just happened. Please check them out here: helpingsurvivors.org/ |
